Give In Memory
However you choose to remember the life of your loved one, Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity is here to support you every step of the way.
Thank you for thinking about supporting Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity as a tribute to your loved one.
An In Memory gift of any kind will help us to transform hospital experiences for our young patients and their families. Here are just some of the ways our supporters choose to give in tribute to their loved ones:
Tribute Funds
A Tribute Fund is a special place for you to share memories, photos, donations, and host fundraising events in memory of a loved one, in support of Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.
It’s an online space where you can gather, share and remember someone special for many years to come. It’s accessible at any time and is open to friends and family wherever they are.
You create and control your page but we’re on hand at info@gchc.scot if you would like some help. Any donations made on the tribute page will be sent directly to the charity.

Funeral Collections
When making funeral arrangements, people sometimes choose to request a donation in memory of their loved one (e.g. in lieu of flowers). Chat to your funeral director about your wishes; they can help you with the arrangements, collect all donations and send them on to us.
If you have the details of your loved one’s funeral, you can also set up an online funeral notice page through MuchLoved here>>>.
You will have the option to allow donations to the charity when setting up the page.
Memorial Funds
You can raise funds in your loved one’s name with a bespoke memorial fund. Together with friends and family you can create a lasting tribute by supporting our work at the children’s hospital in Glasgow.
Make a Donation
A single or recurring donation in memory of your loved one will help to support our young patients while you remember someone special in your life.
Tree of Remembrance
Located in the hospital’s Sanctuary, we can arrange for a leaf to be engraved with a message of your choice on our Remembrance Tree, as a permanent tribute to your loved one.
Sanctuary Sessions
Following feedback, a monthly gathering will take place in the hospital's Sanctuary for anyone affected by the loss of a child, facilitated by Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity and the hospital chaplaincy. The first gathering will take place on Tuesday, February 27, at 6.30pm. Thereafter, they will be on the last Tuesday of each month at 12.30pm and 6.30pm. See this event page for full details and dates.
