Volunteer Speaker

About this role

This is a public speaking role and requires specific training. Volunteer Speakers will be expected to attend refresher training when required. A driving licence with access to your own car is essential for this post. Speaking  opportunities are available throughout Scotland and can fall during the day and in the evenings. Occasionally you will also be required to take along a selection of our branded goods to set up a display stand and sell our products.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to talk to all kinds of different people
  • Has a real passion for the charity and fully supports in it's values

Time Requirements: 

This is an ad hoc role however due to the training and refresher training given, we would ask that  you to commit to at least one talk every 6 weeks during the peak season (September to April)
