Tea Bar Volunteer
We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly volunteers to help run the busy tea bar within Paisley Sheriff Court.

Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity have been given the opportunity to run the busy tea bar within Paisley Sheriff Court. We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly volunteers to help!
All proceeds from the tea bar are for Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity, making a big difference to our young patients, their families and the NHS heroes who treat them.
We need volunteers who are able to commit to a regular volunteer shift each week. Visitors to the court are unable to bring in their own refreshments so this is a well-used and vital service.
Duties will include:
- Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks
- Serving snacks (e.g. crisps, biscuits, chocolate bars)
- Customer service
- Creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
- Cash handling
- Keeping the tea bar clean and tidy
Opportunity Start Date: 5th September 2022
Restrictions
Experience required: No formal qualifications required. Friendliness and enthusiasm. Customer service experience and/or cash handling experience a bonus.
Travel details: Public transport is recommended. The tea bar is a short walk from Paisley Gilmour Street train station.
Minimum age: 18
The tea bar is open 9am - 1pm Monday to Friday and we need two volunteers per shift.
