The Magic of Movies

Thanks to your support, we invested £250,000 to support the installation of a state-of-the-art MediCinema – the only one of its kind in Scotland – at the children’s hospital.

Our 47-seat MediCinema can transform a child’s stay in hospital.

This extra special space allows families the chance to spend precious time together enjoying one of life’s simple pleasures – the excitement of going to the cinema.

With the help of our hospital volunteers, young patients are whisked away to our super MediCinema which even accommodates space for hospital beds so that no child misses out.

Once they arrive, young patients and their families can enjoy the latest cinema releases, and forget about the worry of their hospital stay through the magic of movies.

With ongoing running costs of £30,000 each year, we rely on your support to continue this wonderful service.
