Fundraising and Events Volunteer

About this role

We are looking for enthusiastic Fundraising Volunteers to provide essential support at our busy calendar of fundraising events and activities throughout the year.

There are a whole range of exciting activities to get involved with as one of our Fundraising Volunteers - every event is different. You could find yourself supporting some of our flagship events like our popular Sponsored Walk or Charity Ball, cheering on our supporters at some of Scotland's largest sporting events, manning a trading stall at a fayre or exhibition or attending collections at local Gala days and festivals!   

As this role involves working alongside our team to interact with supporters and the general public, we are looking for sociable and friendly volunteers to apply.

While many of our fundraising activities and events take place across the Central belt, we also require support for events throughout Scotland. 

What we're looking for: 

Essential Requirements

You must:

Be honest and reliable
Be friendly, sociable and enthusiastic
Have good communication skills and willingness to answer general questions about the charity 
Have confidence to interact with our supporters, patients and the general public
Supply 2 references 
Be aged 16+

Time Requirements: 

You will be required on an ad hoc basis, as times for each event will vary.  Please note that most events take place primarily in the evenings and at weekends. You will be alerted weekly of volunteering opportunities and can select an event accordingly.
