Melanie Hutton

Melanie is General Manager for the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow.

Melanie joined RHC in 1991 and started her career as a nurse working in emergency care. She has held multiple nursing roles over the years before settling into an operational and manager role.

Melanie has been involved in the implementation of many new initiatives. Her main focus and drive has always been - and remains - to ensure we continue to deliver on patient and family-centred care, as well as ensuring all staff feel supported, safe and secure at work.
