Delia Henry
Delia has worked as a director in health and social care charities in Scotland for over 25 years.
The organisations include the NHS, Diabetes Scotland, Royal National Institute for Deaf People, and Age Scotland.
In all three charities, Delia led teams of staff to deliver campaigning, communication, policy fundraising and service delivery.
At a national level she influenced and led the implementation of NHS service change in diabetes and campaigned for the BSL Scotland Act which passed in 2015, and changes on policy development in dementia for older people.
Delia has board level experience including chairing charity boards and NHS national level committees. She is keen to bring her experience to Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity to support the development of the organisation.
