Jonathan Haggarty

Jonathan is an innovative and dynamic technology leader with over 15 years’ experience building digital propositions in the Financial Services markets.

He currently leads Open Banking technology at NatWest working with a wide ecosystem to improve the lives and financial capabilities of people here in the UK.  

He graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2007 with an MEng in Computer Science and remains a passionate technologist. He is married to Nicola, an equine vet, and they have three children together. 

Jonathan is a keen supporter and advocate of the charity. His oldest son, Tom, received treatment for several undiagnosed Congenital Heart Defects when he was born at the Queen Elizabeth in 2015.

He’s thrilled to be able to combine the skills he’s learned as a technologist and his own personal experience to support and further the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.
