Gail Thomson, Vice Chair

Gail Thomson is an Executive Director and Head of Fund Governance and Oversight for Coutts as part of NatWest Group.    

"I am honoured to be appointed as Vice Chair of the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity Board. Having been a Trustee since 2019 I’ve had the opportunity to see first hand the life-changing projects and services we provide. It’s an organisation whose values I care deeply about and I’m delighted to have the opportunity broaden my involvement."

Gail has 20 years finance and investment industry experience and is an expert in investment regulation.  She is an Associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments and also holds the Chartered Bankers certificate. 

Gail is also the chairperson of the Scottish CASS Forum, a voluntary organisation which has brought together financial services firms from across Scotland, raising awareness, enhancing culture and providing free learning opportunities open to all. 

Gail is delighted to have the opportunity to use the skills she has acquired during her professional career to support the valuable work being done by Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.
