Gordon Strachan OBE

Manager, Scotland National Football Team

Gordon Strachan OBE is the current manager of the Scotland national football team.

As a player, Gordon has played for Dundee, Aberdeen, Manchester United, Leeds United and Coventry City, as well as the Scotland national team. He has also managed Coventry City, Southampton, Celtic and Middlesbrough. In international football, Gordon earned 50 caps, scoring five goals and playing in two FIFA World Cup final tournaments.

In 2007, Strachan was inducted into the  Scottish Football Hall of Fame

Gordon has visited children and families in the children's hospital on many occasions throughout the years, helping to bring a bit of comfort and joy to their time spent in hospital.  Gordon knows the difference that can be made through organisations such as Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity, and is delighted to be able to support the organisation.
